My name is Sean and I am almost 50 years old. I live in TampaBay, Florida. I have never owned any Farm Land at all. I saw the following documentary and I understood that Regenerative Farming is not just a good solution to a problem, but it is the only solution to a global problem right now. I hear people complaining about their governments all the time. Rarely does complaining actually solve any problems or otherwise do anything positive. Regenerative farming changes all of that. Now, the people and the farmer’s actually have access to a solution! These governments will only respond to large sums of money A.K.A. I am a sole individual I am not at this moment affiliated with any entity or group. I created this webpage completely on my own after watching this film free on Amazon Prime. Regenerative farming is the fastest solution to the huge problem that we all face.
Mr. Market. The only true way to get their attention is to impact their funding. Then and only then, will things change. Regenerative Farming is the fastest way to a solution to the global food problem this planet has right now, without harming anyone. Regenerative farming is a way to say to “big agriculture and big food” (they’re both huge) hey, what you’re doing is wrong! The current method of farming and food production on this entire planet is absolutely wrong, these leaders know it’s wrong, and they do not care because the money continues to flow in from that wrong way. A landowner, or homeowner can see that, even a small indoor plant in soil at home, is plenty to see that Regenerative Farming works so very well. Like I said before, I have never owned or operated any Farm Land, or equipment.
I do know though that Regenerative Farming is more work, (This means more jobs) and there absolutely will be more problems for sure. Many problems that are unknown to me, I understand that. Right now, you have a CHOICE to heal the planet, and earn more money, soon you will not have a CHOICE at all. Right now there is still a market to sell off your old farming equipment, and use those funds for new regenerative equipment. (Easy for me to say when I don’t even own any farming equipment) When the market discovers that Regenerative Farming is a much better way, the existing equipment that has been used for centuries will be completely worthless. I don’t care if your equipment was just purchased yesterday, take a loss on it, and move forward! You will make way more money with Regenerative Farming, grow more and better products.
“I do not have a dog in this fight, per say” because I do not now and have never owned any Farm land. I am a consumer though. I look to the supermarket for healthy solutions, those solutions are turning into problems and they shouldn’t be, and they do not have to. There are currently huge amounts of glyphosate in human breast milk and that is very obviously a huge problem. What that means is that there are large amounts of glyphosate in the foods that we consume, without us even knowing it. How much glyphosate I have consumed is unknown to me all I know is that I have consumed too much of it, any amount of glyphosate is too much. Is it possible that ultra processed foods are healthier now than fruits and vegetables? We think that we are doing good, but in reality we’re doing horrible things to our bodies, our children’s bodies, and planet earth constantly, and we know this too. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. I try to stay as healthy as possible. That’s meaningless though right now. I have no idea if what I am consuming is good or bad for me. That is a huge problem, are these fruits and vegetables causing cancer or preventing it?
The reason why I know that Regenerative Farming works so well is because it works WITH nature to restore life, instead of the current horrible methods of spreading death everywhere while working completely against nature. All of this death being spread just to earn enough to feed your family and have a little left over (hopefully).
There will be many problems with regenerative farming. many of them. I would always have a pistol with me for that reason. Some people don’t like firearms though, so some other solution will have to be invented or used for that problem. I do not know of all the problems and solutions, all I know for certain is that there will be many. This change is needed for these children that are alive now, and the unborn too. Regenerative Farming works very well to restore life everywhere. That means more pests. pests are LIFE, tiny pests feed larger pests, and those pests feed larger pests, and so on. The next thing you know, you have a larger pest than yourself to deal with. There should be something that detects heat or movement or something like what a dog does to solve that problem. You will very soon see that pests are a good thing on your land. You will welcome them, all animals are imperative to regeneration. A person can choose if they want to consume them or not, but they are imperative either way.
So you now know that Regenerative Farming is a solution that includes more work, more pests, less glyphosate in foods, new equipment, new market’s too. Basically a pretty big change. No one likes to change, but this change is absolutely necessary for our kids, families, and the planet. If I owned a farm this is what I would do. I would test regenerative farming somewhere small at first (I understand how and why regenerative farming works, so I wouldn’t need to test anything) . A good test would be in a houseplant, a garden, a tiny patch of land. Ideally, a good test is something that you would see every day. like passing by it as you go to, or come home from work each day, so you can actually see the progress or lack of progress or whatever. Then you can make a decision for yourself about regenerative farming. Like I have made on electric vehicles. They have a lot of good things about them, but for various reasons that are very real, I won’t have anything to do with them. That is a CHOICE that I made after educating myself on the matter. Regenerative Farming is the same thing, perhaps you want to “wait and see” because there is something in there that you’re unsure of right now. Once you see how awesome Regenerative Farming is, you will want to RUN to get Regenerative Farming equipment.
It will suck when the demand is so high for Regenerative Farming equipment that there just will not be any available.
Regenerative Farming fixes the planet, and is also way more lucrative! The crops that are grown produce more and much better organic foods! This change is a no-brainer. Every once in a great while a solution like this one comes along. Right now it is a choice. Very soon, it will not be a choice! Think hard about that fact! In the Future they will probably call it something else. whatever it is called, is not important at all. What is important though, is that it is a very good solution to a global, growing agricultural, and food, degradation problem.
In the Common Ground documentary, it talks about the dust bowl that occurred during the 1930’s in America. This is happening globally again! People only care about losing the land’s outer edges of their land. A lot of people do not even consider losing their land from runoff or wind which is profound. If I owned land, that loss would be measured and managed. The only way I know to do that is to take care of and pay very close attention to the soil and its health. Every tiny little grain of soil is important and the only way to prevent this type of loss is through cover cropping that soil! We need to plant crops that will grow along the ground for a change. Stop that mono cropping for a change. These governments subsidize crops that are well known to be gmo’s and that are treated with all types of very harmful chemicals. Stop all of that with Regenerative Farming. Subsidies are great, when you need them, but when you don’t need them. that is even better.
The Indians knew this to be true. They would burn the ground with fire after several years of crops and the ash would fertilize the ground when that was done. Now though, people tend to get uneasy when they see fire. I am grateful that technology has solved that problem with Regenerative Equipment. If it weren’t for that technology, humanity would be really screwed. Even more so, than it already is.
Just when you thought there is/was no other way to squeeze more income out of your land, Regenerative Farming comes along to save the day for YOU and the PLANET at the same damn time.
I invite you to watch the following documentary which is free on Amazon Prime. You may not like it for some reason at all. That is absolutely fine, just watch it. Because you just saying to someone else that you didn’t like it, may spark an interest with someone else, they may understand how awesome a system Regenerative Farming is and implement that change. Or they may pass it on to someone else. It is a valid solution to a very serious problem that the world is now facing.
We have been tilling the soil for many years. That breaks the soil completely. We need to heal that soil and care for it. If the soil is healthy, it will grow much stronger and much better crops. It will be able to resist pests naturally. Like when you care for an automobile, it takes care of you, and you take care of it. When that process stops, problems start to appear.
Let’s talk about income, because that is really what matters. There are basically 2 ways to generate income. 1 Way is to sell more of a product or get more money for that product or both. Regenerative Farming will absolutely do both of those things. The other way to generate more income from a property is to reduce costs. Regenerative Farming does that through reducing input costs. The need for pesticides and herbicides (glyphosate) are removed. So the chemicals that are very harmful to us consumers and to these Farmers are gone. That alone will drive huge amounts of income. Regenerative Farming is a choice, right now.
